A Basic Cinemagraph

When I first learned about how to make cinemagraphs I remember feeling super anxious at the end of class. The process to me was completely foreign and I just couldn’t remember the steps after the first two. I was somewhat shocked that I was having so much difficulty with this but I immediately sat down with my professor and talked over the steps with her. After that I felt more comfortable and went back to my dorm to practice it. Even though I was only able to create one, I still was able to learn a lot about the set up and process. Before the final version there was another that was shot at a different angle and had part of the sink head cut off. These greatly impacted the overall composition and I decided to reshoot from a different angle. While I understand that this isn’t the most interesting, it is still a milestone in the sense that this was my very first and I overcame struggles while making it. Now that I am more familiar with cinemagraphs and the process I am eager to see what else I am able to create.
